Securing our identity has become mission critical in the world we live in today. By standing for Augmented Identity, we reinvent the way we think, produce, use and protect this asset, whether for individuals or for objects. We ensure privacy and trust as well as guarantee secure, authenticated and verifiable transactions for international clients from Financial, Telecom, Identity, Public Security and IoT sectors.

IDEMIA seeks to create a climate of confidence by contributing to the safety and security of individuals, businesses and countries around the world. Its solutions meet a wide range of security needs worldwide, including identity management, personal rights for residents and travelers, physical access to airports or other high-value sites. IDEMIA is a recognized leading global player for security and identification systems. As the world leader in AFIS and multi-biometric ID management solutions, IDEMIA has proven its ability to manage large-scale projects and develop customized local solutions.

IDEMIA is a very legitimate player to promote end-to-end secured biometric solutions and believes this is necessary in the perspective of more and more sophisticated attacks as well as in the perspective of more and more concerns on personal data breach and misuse.

Role in the Project

IDEMIA will bring its expertise in biometrics, neural networks and security to develop and demonstrate a new robust biometric system for human identification.

IDEMIA will use its state-of-the art software and hardware development environment, platforms and software to perform machine learning processes, the various software development and integration works.

Thanks to the high resolution data provided by last of breed sensors and imagers developed in the VIZTA project, IDEMIA will improve further accuracy of face recognition as well as better cope with spoofing attacks. To further improve security, IDEMIA will work in VIZTA to port its algorithms in imagers available in the projects directly in their stacked layers.
