Newsletter – June 2022
The fifth VIZTA newsletter is on-line and available here.
VIZTA aims at developing innovative technologies in the field of optical sensors and laser sources for short to long-range 3D-imaging and to demonstrate their value in several key applications including automotive, security, smart buildings, mobile robotics for smart cities, and industry4.0.
VIZTA gathers 23 partners from 9 different European countries. VIZTA is coordinated by STMicroelectronics Crolles (near Grenoble, France) and was launched on 1 May 2019 for a duration of 42 months (end date 31/10/2022). This project is supported by a 21 M€ funding from the ECSEL Joint Undertaking (JU) under grant agreement No 826600.
The VIZTA consortium is happy to share that DFKI and IEE released today a public deliverable dedicated to Annotated benchmarking data base for smart building scenarios. The document is available from the “results” page.
Would you like to know more about the topics related to the VIZTA project, their main applications, their current limits and what solution the consortium is bringing? Here is a first focus on the “Optical 3D imaging sensors“! You can find it on the LinkedIn page too.
