In VIZTA project bcb will apply their expertise in the development of the algorithms for a 3D multicamera machine vision system for Industry 4.0 (based on the use of the short range 3D imaging sensors developed in the project) that will be afterwards demonstrated in the automated optical inspection use case.
Javier Bezares del Cueto, BCB CEO, Javier founded BCB in 1996 as a technological engineering company specialized in Machine Vision, Automatic Test Equipments, control and automation. He has over 22 years’ experience in the field of IT integration, and has been involved in several Spanish and European projects focusing in software development, communications, system integration, machine vision and test equipment. He has a M.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from IESE.
Carlota González, project manager with years of experience in the field of engineering, mainly in broadcast and satellite turnkey projects. She was Project Manager in a pioneer project as the roll-out of the first European DVB-T single frequency network, in Spain, and also in Satellite On The Move projects. Last years she has been involved in the management of several H2020 R&D projects as CLOCWORK, HYPOSENS, SILENSE and now VIZTA. Carlota joined BCB in 2017 to control and manage all projects of the company, included industrial projects as heliostats calibration systems or detection leaks in thermosolar plants. M.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad de Vigo (Spain), and a MBA from IDE CESEM, Madrid. Early in her career she worked several years as Fellowship at CERN, in Geneva (Switzerland), developing RF prototypes for LHC, and as YGT at the European Space Agency (ESA/ESOC) in Redu Station, Belgium.
Mohammed Safar, technical Manager in BCB from 2004. He has been working mainly with Automatic Test Equipments for automotive industry, and in machine vision including thermography and photogrametry for quality control in industry, using National Instruments tools (PXI racks and LabVIEW as graphical compiler). He is responsible for the innovative algorithms developed by BCB for different sectors as energy, thermosolar and automotive. Safar has a Math Degree from University of Salah-Aldin-Erbil (Irak) in 1987 and a Computer Degree from University of Technology of Bagdad in 1990.
